Description

Many beeswax pillar candles have difficulty burning because the particulate in beeswax clogs the wick, resulting in a weak flame and tunneling. Our 100% pure beeswax pillars will burn perfectly because we lightly filter our crude beeswax and carefully choose the right wick. Light filtration takes out just the right amount of particulate while keeping the sweet honey scent and gorgeous natural color intact.

Ivory available in 2" and 3" diameter only. Colored pillars available in 3" x 6” diameter only.

Dimensions & Care

2” Dia. Pillars:

  • Trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting.
  • To avoid dripping, burn for only 1 hour at a time.
  • To eliminate smoke when extinguishing the flame, use a tool to drip wax from the molten pool onto the burning wick.
3” Dia. Pillars:
  • Trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting.
  • To avoid tunneling, burn for at least 3 hours per burn and mold the warm sides in toward the flame. This will melt the walls, utilizing all of the available fuel, and thus extend the overall burn time. It will also raise the molten wax level, and shrink any over-sized flame.
  • To prevent uneven burning and potential dripping, use a metal tool to redirect a curled or angled wick to the opposite direction. To prevent wick breakage when doing this, be sure to nudge the wick below the level of the molten pool where the wick is not burned and thus stronger.
  • To eliminate smoke when extinguishing the flame, use a tool to drip wax from the molten pool onto the burning wick.
4” Dia. Pillars:
  • Trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting.
  • To avoid tunneling, burn for at least 6 hours per burn and mold the warm sides in toward the flame.

Awesome pillars

Have not yet purchased the 4 inch sizes, but have bought all the others. The colors are beautiful. The 2 inch sizes are great for meditation/breath work sessions. Or if you don't want to burn a candle for hours at a time. The 3 inch sizes are great to light when the sun is going down and you want a calming glow. But burn them whenever you like. 🙂

The Bluecorn Candle is going to Ukraine.

A loved one of ours lives in Ukraine. Currently, her city is being bombed heavily - sometimes she had heat and electricity, sometimes not. I recently sent a large Bluecorn candle to her because my husband and I love everything about your candles and we wanted to send her something she really needs that is so also so fragrant and comforting. So far, packages are still being delivered in her city, but it takes a few weeks to get there. The mailing cost was more than $60 - so that’s how much we want our friend to receive her Bluecorn Candle! Thanks to the bees and everyone else involved in the making of these miraculous candles!

“The glow of a halo”

A sublime thought provoking glow comes from my Bluecorn beeswax pillar candle. If I was 22.5 pounds softer I would probably dance on tippy toe, instead, I gaze into the glow of my “Bluecorn beeswax candle and kind thoughts, like small planets, circle my head. Thanks for a great product. Will buy again.
