Jill graduated with a metalsmithing degree from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, in 1989. That October she moved to Ridgway, Colorado, where she still resides with her family. With two full studios on their property, Jill and Scott have run a successful custom woodworking and metalsmithing career. Jill began designing and crafting the serveware line in 1995. We're honored to share Jill's heirloom-quality servingware and jewelry with our customers! Check out her work, here.

Bennett Forgeworks

Bluecorn founder Jon Kornbluh moved to Southwestern Colorado with his college buddy Tom Bennett back in the 90s. Today, they're both owners of vibrant small businesses that are crucial employers in our area. Tom designed our entire range of hand-forged pillar bases, including the iconic lotus. Lizzie is a talented wedding, portrait and landscape photographer who lives on a working ranch outside Ridgway, Colorado. She's a dear friend of the hive and the eye behind many of the inspiring landscape images you see on our website. Check out more of her work here.

Beth Paulson, Poetry

Beth has been widely published over the last two decades in national literary journals and online sites. Her poems have been four times nominated for Pushcart Prizes as well as Best of the Net. She graciously composed "Sage Song" in honor of the launch of Artemisa, a scented candle inspired by the foothills surrounding Ridgway, which Beth has roamed for many years. Wendy Videlock, Poetry

A resident of the orchard town of Palisade, Colorado, Wendy wrote "Song of the Mesa" to celebrate the launch of our scented candle, La Mesa. This basil, citrus and cannabis blend was inspired by the soulful, vibrant people who make Colorado's bread basket the lush and nourishing place it is. Wendy is currently the Western Slope's Poet Laureate and deeply connected to the relationship between land and verse — as she said, "the iamb is really just another of the many natural pulsings of the earth."
